Nature is the state of things as they are, untouched by human hands. We provide a comfortable space and time for all visitors to Roppongi Midtown. We welcome everyone with a spirit of hospitality, using beautiful orchid flowers in the traditional Japanese auspicious red of madder. In today's world, where more diverse cultures and people gather, we will incorporate the following three elements to create a space where people can spend time together in harmony and comfort within Roppongi Midtown. 1. The elegance of orchids. Orchids are characterized by their elegant and beautiful flower shape. Their elegant appearance has the flower language of "distinguished guest" and "pure love," and heals the hearts of visitors. 2. Traditional Japanese hospitality. We value the traditional Japanese spirit of hospitality and will decorate with orchid flowers in the auspicious color of "madder red." We will do our best to ensure that visitors have a special time. 3. Harmony with the city. We are considering decorations that will make a strong statement in the bright, shining madder red color no matter where they are placed in Roppongi Midtown. We aim to create flower art that will have a positive impact on the surrounding area

The theme for the FLOWER ART AWARD 2025 is "Spring, Blooming Tokyo Midtown." Taking inspiration from this theme and "TOKYO MIDTOWN BLOSSOM," we interpreted Tokyo Midtown as a cultural hub that shares Japanese traditions with the world, given that Roppongi is an international city. For this artwork, The purpose of making this artwork is to propagate the beauty of traditional Japanese aesthetics through flowers and plants. The design theme, "Senbonzakura" (A Thousand Cherry Trees), draws inspiration from one of Tokyo Midtown’s highlights—a row of 100 cherry blossom trees. The cherry blossom pathway in Midtown Garden offers a spectacular scene: cherry blossoms overhead, spring flowers at visitor’s feet, and petals fluttering in the wind, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The title "Senbonzakura" refers to famous places known for their abundance of cherry trees and the stunning sight of blossoms at their peak. Through this artwork, we aim to express the fleeting beauty of spring flowers in full bloom, allowing visitors to feel the arrival of spring with all five senses. We will bring a thousand cherry blossoms to Tokyo Midtown

A paradise of plants appearing deep in the mountains.Flowers bloom beautifully from a single old tree covered with plants.This work allows the viewer to feel the life and eternal beauty of plants.The  is a space that never actually existed, but is represented as if it were real, using a wide variety of colorful plants, the vegetation of the mountains of Japan, and the structure of the mountains.We will use spring flowers, mainly yellow, to create a shimmering space where light pours in and the life of the plants can be felt.Also, to evoke the image of Japanese mountains, mushrooms and nuts will be placed around cedar, pine, ferns, and moss.

The spring joy that makes our heart dance

Spring is a season of new life and growth. It is a time when we feel the breath of fresh life in nature and experience the intersection of encounters and farewells. This season is filled with a swirl of emotions—excitement, anticipation, and at times, a touch of sadness or nostalgia. Through this design, I sought to express the waves of feelings that spring brings, using flowers and creativity to capture its essence.

Based on the theme for 2025, "Spring, Blooming Tokyo Midtown, the design uses cherry blossoms, baby's breath, and other spring flowers to express a gorgeous yet elegant lyricism. By combining the image of cherry blossoms as "transience" and refreshing split bamboo, I hope to incorporate the "concept of time" unique to Ikebana, a Japanese culture, and express the "bright future" that lies ahead.

The Tokyo Midtown buildings cannot be seen as a whole except from the sky, and the buildings surrounded by flowers, that are actually only existing in our mind, show up between them. These may not only be viewed from above. The view of things is not only from one side. I constructed an opportunity to closely experience the blooming Tokyo Midtown from below.

This artwork explores the harmony between nature and humanity. Even in bustling cities, people find peace through their connection with nature. By blending organic elements with geometric forms, the piece embodies balance and tranquility. The muted color palette enhances a sense of visual calm. Through this artwork, viewers are encouraged to rediscover their own connection to nature and appreciate the beauty in everyday life.

When the cherry blossoms bloom, the southern wind begins to blow.Whenever something new begins, we feel the wind.The invisible spring breeze is filled with anticipation, hope, and dreams for the future,shining with radiant light.As this wind blows through Tokyo Midtown, it gives us a gentle push forward,inspiring us to color the world with vibrant hues from here.

The combination of flowers and cities　Natural circulation and harmony   In the urban space of Tokyo, the strong vitality of flowers and plants, the beauty of flowers, and a fountain of flowers that spring up everywhere without large horns. Nature blooms green and flowers in the city, giving people healing and strengthThe benefit of  The tall silver pole represented the tall building that symbolized the city, and the silver wire represented the rain and wind, expressing the circulation of nature.  I am happy that it will reach the five senses of those who have seen it, and it will be a memorable work for everyone.

This work, 'Passage of Light,' portrays spring's vitality. Bamboo lines convey light and wind, dried materials represent winter's remnants, and vibrant flowers, spring's rebirth. Experience the city's seasonal shift through nature's flow, feeling the life cycle's beauty.
